The end of the road

Two years ago I decided to go back to school. It was one of the most challenging and fulfilling things I have ever done.

Tomorrow I leave for Victoria to meet up with my friends to convocate from Royal Roads University.

I am so excited to complete this two-year journey with one of the best cohorts ever. We hit if off right from the start as we all set out to accomplish something big on our to-do lists. I feel so lucky to have been a part of this supportive and loving group of people.

I just want to take this opportunity to thank and congratulate this year's RRU Professional Communications graduates.

What I had to give up to finish this goal was made up by the courage, confidence, and skills I gained along the way. Don't let fear get in the way of following your dreams. Your journey starts the moment you take one step forward. The road may be long, you may fumble or take a few detours, but take that first step. I think attempting something is better then one day looking back on life and wishing you would've done it.
